Training Info/Materials


Training Requirements

Level 1 Officials:  Minimum of 8 hours of classroom training, on-field scrimmage work, and pass the NFHS test with 80% or higher.  Classroom training to focus on rule knowledge, understanding and enforcing technical and personal fouls, and 2-man mechanics.

Level 2 Officials:  Minimum of 6 hours of classroom training, on-field scrimmage work, and pass the NFHS test with 90% or higher.  Classroom training to focus on 2-man mechanics, simultaneous fouls, game management, player safety and rules review.

Level 3 Officials:  Minimum of 6 hours of classroom training, on-field scrimmage work, and pass the NFHS test with 90% or higher.  Classroom training to focus on 3-man mechanics, simultaneous fouls, game management, player safety and rules review.
